1 Service object

Helplease is a digital platform connecting individuals seeking home services (clients) with independent service providers. Our role is limited to facilitating this connection: we are neither employer nor agent of the providers.

These General Terms of Use (GTU) govern access to and use of the Helplease platform, available on the website and mobile app.

The Helplease platform is published and operated by Pentacle HOLDING.

2 Definitions

• Platform — Refers to the Helplease website and mobile application
• User — Any person who has created an account on the platform
• Client — User who requests a service via the platform
• Provider — Independent professional offering services
• Service — Service performed by a provider for a client

3 Registration & Account

Registration is free and open to any adult. To become a provider, additional documents are required (ID, professional status).

Eligibility conditions

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have a valid email address
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information

Account security

You are responsible for the confidentiality of your password and all activity that occurs on your account. Any violation is your sole responsibility.

4 Commitments of the parties

Client commitments

• Describe their need clearly and accurately
• Pay the agreed price within the deadlines
• Respect the provider and provide a safe work environment

Provider commitments

• Possess the required qualifications, authorizations and insurance
• Perform the service in accordance with industry standards
• Respect the deadlines agreed with the client
• Declare income to the competent tax and social authorities

5 Financial conditions

Helplease uses a secure escrow payment system released upon client validation.

Pricing

Prices are freely set by providers. They can be hourly, per service, or flat-rate. All applicable taxes are included.

Helplease commission

Helplease charges a commission on each transaction made via the platform. The exact rate is available in your provider area and may vary by service type.

Payment

Payment is made exclusively via the platform by credit card or bank transfer. Funds are released to the provider 24 to 48 hours after client validation.

Refund

In case of non-conforming or undelivered service, the client may request a full or partial refund through the platform within 7 days of the service date.

6 Cancellation & Disputes

Cancellation conditions vary depending on the time before the service:

• More than 24h before: free cancellation
• Between 12h and 24h before: 50% retention
• Less than 12h before: 100% retention

Dispute resolution

In case of dispute between client and provider, Helplease offers free mediation accessible from your personal area. If mediation fails, the parties may refer to the competent courts.

7 Liability

Helplease acts as a technical intermediary. We cannot be held liable for the quality, safety or legality of services performed by providers.

Helplease cannot be held responsible for:

• Direct or indirect damages caused by providers
• Failures related to the Internet network or third-party servers
• Force majeure events (disaster, conflict, pandemic, etc.)

8 Intellectual property

All elements of the platform (texts, images, logos, code, design) are the exclusive property of Helplease or its partners. Any reproduction, even partial, is strictly prohibited without written authorization.

Content posted by users (reviews, photos, service descriptions) remains their property. However, by posting, they grant Helplease a non-exclusive license to use and display them on the platform.

9 Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your personal area. Deletion immediately terminates your access to the platform.

Helplease reserves the right to suspend or delete an account in case of breach of these GTU, proven fraud or abusive use of the platform.

10 Applicable law

These General Terms are governed by applicable law. Any dispute will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Helplease's registered office, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
