Honey & Bee Products

Honey & bee products — Greenland

Honey and bee products are valued for their taste and their uses, from cooking to home remedies. Depending on the flower and the region, a honey changes colour, texture and aroma. On Helplease, you describe what you are looking for and the beekeepers and sellers offering this service in Greenland are notified of your request.

What you can find

• Various honeys: wildflower, eucalyptus, orange blossom, thyme or mountain depending on the season.
• Pollen and propolis: bee products sold in jars or loose.
• Royal jelly: subject to availability and storage.
• Wax and by-products: beeswax and processed products.

For a precise order, state the type of honey, the quantity and the packaging you want.

How to choose well

Origin and variety

Ask about the flower of origin and the region: they explain the taste and texture. A honey that crystallises is not a defect.

Quality and storage

Honey keeps away from light and moisture. Ask for storage advice.

Quantity

For regular use, a large jar often works out cheaper.

What affects the price

• the variety and rarity of the honey;
• the quantity and packaging;
• other bee products (pollen, propolis, royal jelly);
• delivery, if offered;
• the season.

The rate is agreed with the worker based on these elements.

Frequently asked questions

Why has my honey hardened?

Crystallisation is natural and does not spoil the honey. A gentle bain-marie restores its texture.

Can I order a specific variety?

Yes, subject to season and availability. State the variety you want.

Is delivery possible?

It depends on the worker and your area in Greenland. Give the address and the time slot.
