A sandwich panel combines two metal skins with an insulating core. Light and quick to install, it roofs extensions, garages, sheds, workshops or rooftop rooms with built-in insulation. On Helplease, you describe your needs and the workers offering this service in Canada are notified of your request.
Depending on what you agree with the worker, the job can include checking or installing the supporting structure, laying panels, sealed fixings, ridge, verges, gutters and junctions with walls.
Panels rest on purlins sized for the span, with a minimum pitch for water run-off.
Panel thickness determines thermal comfort and rain noise reduction; choose it according to the room's use.
The rate is agreed with the worker based on these elements.
Less than single sheet metal thanks to the insulation; thickness affects the result.
If it is sound and suited to the panel span; the worker checks.
Depending on the project and local rules; check with the relevant authorities.
