Cockroaches hide near heat, water and food: kitchens, bathrooms, service ducts, bin rooms. They multiply fast, which is why targeted treatment and prevention matter. On Helplease, you describe your needs and the workers offering this service in New Zealand are notified of your request.
Depending on what you agree with the worker, the job can include inspecting hiding places, suitable treatment (gel, spray or another method), prevention advice and a possible second visit.
Put food away, clear access to areas to treat and follow the worker's instructions regarding children, pets and food.
In apartment buildings, cockroaches travel through ducts; an isolated treatment may last less than coordinated action with neighbours.
The rate is agreed with the worker based on these elements.
It depends on the method; the worker explains precautions and any time away.
Not always; a second visit is often useful for eggs that hatched in between.
Mention their presence: the worker adapts the method and precautions.
