Some metal repairs cannot go to a workshop: a broken gate hinge, a detached grille, a cracked railing, a structure to reinforce. An equipped welder then works on site. On Helplease, you describe your needs and the workers offering this service in Canada are notified of your request.
Depending on the diagnosis and what you agree with the worker, the job can include preparing parts, welding, grinding, anti-rust protection and paint touch-up.
Welding produces sparks and heat: flammable materials must be moved away and the area cleared. Mention any particular risk.
Depending on the worker's equipment, a nearby electrical socket may be needed; say whether one is available.
The rate is agreed with the worker based on these elements.
It depends on the worker's equipment; specify the metal in your request.
The heated area must be repainted; plan for a touch-up.
Not always; on-site welding often avoids removal.
