A metal door is chosen for its strength: service entrance, cellar, utility room, terrace access, storeroom or back of shop. Made to measure, it fits the existing opening. On Helplease, you describe your needs and the workers offering this service in Canada are notified of your request.
Depending on what you agree with the worker, the job can include measuring, making the frame and leaf, lock and hinges, anti-rust treatment and painting, installation and anchoring.
State the security level wanted: simple lock, multipoint, bolt, or panic bar for premises open to the public under applicable rules.
Outdoors, anti-rust preparation, paint and threshold determine the door's lifespan.
The rate is agreed with the worker based on these elements.
Sometimes, if sound and plumb; otherwise the frame is replaced with the door.
An insulated infill is possible; mention it in the request.
Steel is heavier and more impact-resistant; aluminium is lighter and does not rust. An aluminium door service exists.
