Dividing a room, closing off a space, creating a utility room or building a low wall: a brick wall remains a solid, long-lasting solution. Its quality depends on setting out, plumb and mortar. On Helplease, you describe your project and the workers offering this service in United States are notified of your request.
Depending on what you agree with the worker, the job can include setting out, preparing the base, laying bricks in mortar, lintels over openings, tie beams where needed, and cleaning up. The finishing render should be specified: a rendering service exists in the catalogue.
A wall is heavy. A partition built on a floor or slab must be compatible with that load; an outdoor wall needs a suitable foundation. Describe the location and the existing ground.
Hollow bricks, solid bricks or concrete blocks differ in weight and use. State your choice or ask the worker for advice.
Doors, windows, sockets or pipe routes are planned before building. Mention them in your request.
For an outdoor wall or a major change, check with the relevant authorities whether any authorisation is required.
The rate is agreed with the worker based on these elements.
That is to be agreed. The worker can estimate quantities from the dimensions; say if you want them to supply the materials.
Not necessarily. Rendering is a separate stage, to include in your request if you want it.
It depends on the floor's load capacity. If in doubt, a check by a qualified professional is recommended.
