Satellite dish installation and alignment

Satellite dish installation and alignment — Saint Vincent And The Grenadines

A misaligned dish or one moved by wind loses channels or pixelates the picture. Installing and precisely aligning the dish and receiver restores stable reception. On Helplease, you describe your needs and the workers offering this service in Saint Vincent And The Grenadines are notified of your request.

What the service covers

• installing a new dish;
• realignment and fine-tuning;
• replacing the LNB and cables;
• multi-satellite or multi-receiver setups;
• programming channels on the receiver.

Depending on what you agree with the worker, the job can include fixing the bracket, aligning with a meter, cabling to the receiver, connectors and channel scanning.

Key points

Solid fixing

A dish catches the wind: a well-anchored bracket prevents it drifting with every storm.

Height and access

Work is often on a roof terrace or facade; describe access and whether there is a railing.

What affects the price

• new installation or alignment;
• number of receivers and satellites;
• cable length;
• equipment supplied (dish, LNB, bracket);
• access and height.

The rate is agreed with the worker based on these elements.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the picture pixelate in rain?

Imprecise alignment or an ageing LNB makes the signal more fragile in bad weather.

Can several receivers be connected?

Yes, with a suitable LNB and cabling; give the number of TVs.

Is equipment supplied?

That is to be agreed; say if you already have a dish and LNB.

What information should I give?

Need (install or align), number of receivers, location, access and channels wanted.
