Other local repair

Other local repair — Saint Vincent And The Grenadines

Some everyday items do not match any specific service: a lamp, a radio, a toy, an instrument, glasses, an umbrella, a sewing machine. This service lets you describe the repair freely. On Helplease, you describe your needs and the workers offering this service in Saint Vincent And The Grenadines are notified of your request.

What the service covers

• lamps and small light fittings;
• radios, speakers and audio devices;
• toys and children's items;
• sewing machines;
• small household objects.

Before choosing this service, check whether a more specific one exists: shoe repair, bags, keys, watches, sharpening, phone, TV, satellite dish, small appliances or gas appliances. Otherwise, describe the item and fault.

Key points

Describe the fault

What no longer works, since when and in what circumstances: this helps judge whether repair is possible.

Value of the item

For a low-value item, the worker can say whether repair makes sense; for a family heirloom, mention it.

What affects the price

• nature of the item;
• the fault;
• parts needed;
• desired timing.

The rate is agreed with the worker based on these elements.
