Depending on the agreement, the session can include a connection test before the first lesson, the agreed programme, screen sharing, exercises and materials sent afterwards.
For a learner under 18, the lesson takes place in a shared room or with the door open, at an agreed time, with parents informed about the content, and on a parent's account for younger children. The lesson is also the moment to set up parental controls, explain what is never shared online — passwords, address, photos — and show how to report content or a contact that makes them uncomfortable.
Back up your important files before any work: a repair may require a reinstallation. Your personal files stay confidential, are neither copied nor kept, and no unlicensed software is installed on your equipment.
