An animal that stays home keeps its bearings, provided someone really comes by. Meals, water, litter and a moment of company are often enough for the absence to go well. On Helplease, you describe your needs and the workers offering this service in Slovenia are notified of your request.
Depending on the agreement, the mission can include the agreed visits, meals per your instructions, water, cleaning, time spent with the animal and a report with a photo.
Leave in writing the food, quantities, times, habits and the vet's contact details, with the health record accessible. No medicine is given without precise written instructions. Any loss of appetite, limping, repeated vomiting or change in behaviour is reported to you immediately, and in an emergency the vet is contacted under the authorisation agreed in advance.
Hand the keys over in person, with a written list of what is allowed, and take them back at the end: no copies are made. Alarm codes are given to one person only and changed afterwards if needed. The worker invites nobody and posts nothing about your home; on your side, avoid announcing your absence on social media.
The rate is agreed with the worker based on these elements.
