Cellar, garage and loft clearing — Burkina Faso

A cellar or loft fills up without you noticing, until the day you can no longer get in. Sorting makes the space usable again, and storing off the floor protects from damp and pests. On Helplease, you describe your needs and the workers offering this service in Burkina Faso are notified of your request.

What the service covers

  • sorting and removing what is not needed;
  • cleaning and dusting;
  • shelving and raising items off the floor;
  • protection against damp;
  • labelling so things are easy to find.

Depending on the agreement, the service can include emptying, sorting with you, cleaning, organised storage, disposal through the right channels and labelling the boxes.

Key points

Dust, loads and risky items

A cellar or loft closed for years holds dust, mould and sometimes pest nests: mask, gloves, closed shoes and airing before starting. Heavy loads are carried by two people, with a clear route and enough light. Unknown chemicals, gas cylinders, swollen batteries, materials suspected of containing asbestos or dangerous objects are not handled: they are flagged and passed to an authorised channel.

Nothing leaves without your agreement

Sorting belongs to the client: nothing is thrown away, given away or sold without approval, and sensitive items — papers, photos, jewellery, post, keepsakes — are set aside for you to decide yourself. What the worker sees among your belongings stays confidential. What is disposed of goes to the right channel: donation, recycling or a waste centre, never fly-tipping.

What affects the price

  • volume involved;
  • the starting state of the space;
  • sorting and disposal;
  • storage supplies;
  • length of the job.

The rate is agreed with the worker based on these elements.

Frequently asked questions

Who decides what gets thrown away?

You do: nothing leaves without your agreement, and sensitive items are set aside.

Is disposal included?

Depending on the agreement; state the volume to remove in your request.

Do I have to be there during the job?

At least for the sorting and the final approval; the rest can be done without you if you prefer.

What information should I give?

The volume, the state of the space, photos, the result you want and any access constraints.
