Move preparation and packing in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Move preparation and packing — Bosnia and Herzegovina

A move is decided before the van arrives. Sorting first avoids paying to transport what you will throw away on arrival, and boxes labelled by room save whole days when unpacking. On Helplease, you describe your needs and the workers offering this service in Bosnia and Herzegovina are notified of your request.

What the service covers

sorting before the move;
packing fragile items;
boxing up room by room;
clear labelling and inventory;
preparing an essentials box.

Depending on the agreement, the service can include supplying packing materials, sorting, packing, boxing up, labelling, the inventory and preparing the box to open first.

Key points

Nothing leaves without your agreement

Sorting belongs to the client: nothing is thrown away, given away or sold without approval, and sensitive items — papers, photos, jewellery, post, keepsakes — are set aside for you to decide yourself. What the worker sees among your belongings stays confidential. What is disposed of goes to the right channel: donation, recycling or a waste centre, never fly-tipping.

Dust, loads and risky items

A cellar or loft closed for years holds dust, mould and sometimes pest nests: mask, gloves, closed shoes and airing before starting. Heavy loads are carried by two people, with a clear route and enough light. Unknown chemicals, gas cylinders, swollen batteries, materials suspected of containing asbestos or dangerous objects are not handled: they are flagged and passed to an authorised channel.

What affects the price

volume involved;
the starting state of the space;
sorting and disposal;
storage supplies;
length of the job.

The rate is agreed with the worker based on these elements.
