A poorly maintained air conditioner cools less, uses more power and can spread dust and bad smells. Regular servicing and, if needed, a refrigerant recharge after a leak repair restore its efficiency. On Helplease, you describe your needs and the workers offering this service in Saint Lucia are notified of your request.
Depending on what you agree with the worker, the job can include cleaning, clearing the condensate drain, measurements, finding and repairing leaks, then recharging and testing.
An air conditioner does not use up its gas: if it is low, there is a leak to find and repair before recharging, otherwise the problem returns.
Handling refrigerants is reserved for qualified technicians and governed by environmental rules; do not attempt to recharge yourself.
The rate is agreed with the worker based on these elements.
At least once a year before the hot season is often advised; filters are cleaned more often.
Not necessarily; clogged filters or a fault may be the cause. A diagnosis is needed.
