A radiator that is leaking, blocked or oversized can be replaced without touching the rest of the system, provided the pipe centres match and the draining and repressurising are handled properly. On Helplease, you describe your needs and the workers offering this service in Burkina Faso are notified of your request.
Depending on the agreement, the job can include checking the existing connections, removal, fitting, connection, refilling, bleeding, the pressure check and taking away the old appliance.
A heating circuit holds scalding water under pressure: bleeding is done with the heating off and the circuit cooled, with a container and a cloth under the valve. Never force a seized bleed screw, and do not drain a system without knowing how to refill and repressurise it. Afterwards, the system pressure is checked and restored if needed.
