Sofa assembly

Sofa assembly — South Georgia

Many sofas arrive in several parts: seat, back, armrests, feet, corner modules or a bed mechanism. A worker assembles them, checks the fixings and makes sure the mechanism works. On Helplease, you describe your needs and the workers offering this service in South Georgia are notified of your request.

What the service covers

• straight or corner sofa;
• modular sofa;
• sofa bed or click-clack;
• fitting feet, armrests and backs;
• carrying up and placing in the room.

Depending on what you agree with the worker, the job can include unpacking, assembly, joining modules, testing the mechanism and removing packaging.

Key points

Getting through doors

Measure doors, corridors and stairwells before delivery; some parts only fit through before assembly.

Bed mechanism

The mechanism must be fitted according to the instructions and tested; poor assembly can jam or damage it.

What affects the price

• type of sofa;
• number of modules;
• bed mechanism;
• floor and access;
• packaging removal.

The rate is agreed with the worker based on these elements.
