A well-installed hood captures cooking smoke and smells. Wall, island, visor or integrated in a cabinet, it must be fixed at the height the manufacturer recommends and connected to a duct or run in recirculation with filters. On Helplease, you describe your needs and the workers offering this service in Saint Lucia are notified of your request.
Depending on what you agree with the worker, the job can include removing the old hood, marking, drilling, fixing, connecting the duct, plugging into the existing socket and testing.
The distance between hood and hob follows the manufacturer's instructions. The cooker's gas connection is never touched: it is for a qualified professional.
Connection is done with power off; adding a socket or line is for an electrician. A new opening to the outside may need approval from the building manager or owner.
The rate is agreed with the worker based on these elements.
Ducted is more effective; recirculation suits cases with no outlet, with filters to replace.
Only to create an outlet; in a building, check required approvals.
That is to be agreed; give the model.
