A drooping, loose or broken handle is easy to replace if the new one matches: type (rose or backplate), centre distance, door thickness and spindle length. The worker checks compatibility and fixes the handle firmly. On Helplease, you describe your needs and the workers offering this service in France are notified of your request.
Depending on what you agree with the worker, the job can include removing the old handle, checking centre distance and spindle, fitting the new one, tightening and checking the lock works.
Centre distance (between handle and key), rose or backplate type and door thickness must match.
If the lock mechanism is worn or stuck, a locksmith is better suited; a dedicated service exists.
The rate is agreed with the worker based on these elements.
Note centre distance, fixing type and door thickness, or ask the worker to check.
That is to be agreed; say if you have them.
Only if faulty; a locksmith can help.
Number and type of handles, centre distance if known and described photos.
