A door that rubs, warps or no longer closes properly can be replaced with a leaf alone or a full door set with frame. The worker measures, removes the old door, fits the new one and adjusts it. On Helplease, you describe your needs and the workers offering this service in Canada are notified of your request.
Depending on what you agree with the worker, the job can include measuring, removing the old door, trimming or planing, fitting hinges, adjusting, hardware and removal of the old door if agreed.
Width, height, wall thickness and opening direction determine the door to order.
In a building, the appearance of the entrance door may be governed by co-ownership rules. A multipoint lock may need a locksmith.
The rate is agreed with the worker based on these elements.
If the frame is sound and sized right, a leaf may suffice; otherwise a door set is better.
That is to be agreed; give dimensions and opening direction.
If agreed with the worker.
