Decoration sets the tone of an event before a word is spoken. Colour choices, staging the entrance, dressing the tables and ambient lighting turn a bare room into a place to celebrate. On Helplease, you describe your needs and the workers offering this service in Saint Lucia are notified of your request.
Depending on the agreement, the service can include the decoration proposal, supplying or hiring the materials, setting up before the event, adjustments on site and taking everything down afterwards.
Candles, tea lights and anything with an open flame stay away from fabrics, paper decorations and balloons, and are never left unattended. Hanging elements are fixed to solid points, not to a suspended ceiling or a curtain rail. Helium cylinders are secured upright, and the gas is never inhaled, even as a joke: it is dangerous.
The number of guests stays within the venue's capacity, and fire exits, corridors and access to extinguishers remain clear at all times, with no decoration or furniture in front of them. Plan lighting for the exits and inform the venue manager of the running order and expected numbers.
The rate is agreed with the worker based on these elements.
