A blind that will not come down, a roller shutter stuck halfway or a strap that snaps, and suddenly you can no longer control light, heat or privacy in the room. Most of these faults can be repaired without replacing the whole unit. On Helplease, you describe the type of blind and the problem, and the workers offering this service in Romania are notified of your request.
Depending on the diagnosis and what you agree with the worker, the job can include replacing the strap, cord, reel or gear, replacing slats, adjusting the curtain and end stops, cleaning the guide rails, or checking a motor and its control. Supply of parts is to be agreed.
Many roller shutter repairs are done through the box above the window. Say whether it is inside or outside, and which floor.
A fault on a motorised shutter may come from the motor, the control or the power supply. Give the brand if you know it, and whether the motor makes a noise or stays silent.
If the curtain is badly damaged or the mechanism is worn out, the worker can tell you whether replacement is more reasonable.
The rate is agreed with the worker based on these elements.
No. Replacing a strap, sometimes with its reel, is one of the most common repairs.
Avoid forcing the strap or crank, as this can make the fault worse. Describe the situation in your request.
That is a different type of job; mention it in your request so the worker can tell you what they can take on.
The type of blind or shutter, its approximate width, how it is operated, the fault observed, the brand if known, and the floor and access to the box.
