A useful site is judged by what it lets people do: find you, understand the offer, get in touch or order without obstacles. Design comes after that mechanism, and the client's ability to run it determines how long the site lives. On Helplease, you describe your needs and the workers offering this service in Nepal are notified of your request.
Depending on the agreement, the service can include scoping the need, the mock-up, the build, going live, the tests, handing over the access details and training.
The access details — hosting, domain name, admin, social accounts — belong to the client and are handed over: a site whose access you do not hold is not really yours. Passwords are sent through a safe channel and changed after delivery. A form that collects personal data requires clear information for visitors and storage limited to what is necessary.
Texts, photos, fonts, music and templates used must be royalty-free or covered by a licence suited to the use: an image taken from a search engine exposes the site to a claim, often years later. Third-party logos and trademarks are not reused without permission, and content supplied by the client remains their responsibility.
The rate is agreed with the worker based on these elements.
