A file that has to arrive before closing, forgotten keys, a parcel to collect across town: express delivery handles the trip within the day and hands the parcel over in person. On Helplease, you describe your needs and the workers offering this service in Haiti are notified of your request.
Depending on the agreement, the mission can include collecting the parcel, transport, handover in person, delivery confirmation and returning a signed document if agreed.
The contents are described in advance and the parcel sealed before collection. Dangerous or flammable goods, gas cylinders, aerosols, illegal items and counterfeits are not carried. Fragile or valuable items are flagged, and for important documents, arrange a handover against signature.
A tight deadline never justifies dangerous driving: the worker respects speed limits, does not use the phone while driving and stops to check an address. The load is secured and does not obstruct visibility or handling. On a two-wheeler, a helmet is required and the load must remain compatible with the vehicle's balance.
The rate is agreed with the worker based on these elements.
Agree how you will be contacted and ask for confirmation at handover; a photo of the delivered parcel can be arranged.
Name a trusted person in advance; a parcel is never left without a handover in person unless agreed in writing.
