General labourer by the day — Malawi

A general labourer comes to lend a hand for one or more days: handling, tidying, clearing, preparing a site, simple small jobs. It is flexible help when you are short of hands. On Helplease, you describe your needs and the workers offering this service in Malawi are notified of your request.

What the service covers

  • handling and moving furniture or materials;
  • clearing a cellar, garage or terrace;
  • helping on a small site;
  • site cleaning and removal;
  • simple small maintenance tasks.

The day's work is defined with the worker: precise tasks, hours, tools and protection, meals and number of days.

Key points

List the tasks

A clear list of jobs shows whether one day is enough and what equipment to plan.

Specialised tasks

Electrics, plumbing, gas or work at height need a qualified professional; the labourer handles simple tasks.

What affects the price

  • number of days;
  • hours;
  • nature of tasks;
  • meals and transport;
  • number of workers.

The rate is agreed with the worker based on these elements.

Frequently asked questions

Can a labourer be hired for half a day?

It depends on the worker; give the desired duration.

Does the labourer bring tools?

That is to be agreed; say what is available.

Can he remove waste?

He can gather it; removal depends on transport, and a dedicated service exists.

What information should I give?

Tasks, place, hours, number of days and available equipment.
