Jewellery making, mosaic, origami, candle or soap making, leatherwork, models, engraving, film photography: some hobbies are not among the listed services. On Helplease, you describe your needs and the workers offering this service in Mauritius are notified of your request.
Before choosing this service, check whether a more specific one exists: drawing, painting, creative sewing, knitting, pottery, scrapbooking or calligraphy. Otherwise, describe the activity, your level and the materials you have.
For a learner under 18, the workshop takes place in a shared room or with the door open, at an agreed time, with parents informed about the content. Materials are chosen to suit the age: cutting tools, strong glues, fixatives and sprays are used under adult supervision, in a ventilated room and on a protected surface. Products are resealed after use and stored out of children's reach.
Paints, varnishes, glues, fixatives and solvents are used with a window open, away from any flame, with gloves and on a protected surface. Never mix two products, and soaked rags are dried flat outdoors before being thrown away, never bundled up. After the session, products are resealed and stored out of children's reach, and hands are washed before eating.
The rate is agreed with the worker based on these elements.
Depending on the agreement: the worker can bring them or use yours; state it in your request.
