Vehicle inspection accompaniment

Vehicle inspection support — Tonga

Periodic vehicle inspection checks a vehicle's condition and safety. A worker can check the common points in advance, drive the vehicle to the inspection centre and report back, saving you time. On Helplease, you describe your needs and the workers offering this service in Tonga are notified of your request.

What the service covers

• pre-check of common points (lights, tyres, wipers);
• driving the vehicle to the centre and back;
• following up on inspection remarks;
• arranging repairs before re-inspection;
• preparing documents to present.

Depending on what you agree with the worker, the job can include the pre-check, the round trip, presence during inspection and passing on the result. The result depends solely on the vehicle's condition and the inspection centre.

Key points

Prepare the vehicle

Lights, tyres, wipers, seat belts, horn and warning lights are often checked; a pre-check lets simple defects be fixed beforehand.

Documents

Registration, insurance certificate and previous report are generally required; check what the centre asks for.

What affects the price

• pre-check;
• distance to the centre;
• waiting time;
• any re-inspection;
• small repairs.

The rate is agreed with the worker based on these elements.
