A puncture immobilises the vehicle. The tyre repairer fixes the tyre when possible, checks its condition and pressure, or fits the spare wheel until a replacement. On Helplease, you describe your needs and the workers offering this service in Canada are notified of your request.
Depending on what you agree with the worker, the job can include travel, removing the wheel, inspecting the tyre, repair if possible, refitting and pressure check.
If you have a puncture on the road, park safely, switch on hazard lights, wear a vest and place the warning triangle before any work.
A sidewall puncture, a tyre driven flat for a long time or a large tear generally cannot be repaired: the tyre must be replaced.
The rate is agreed with the worker based on these elements.
