A car that won't start, a suspicious noise, a service due: the mobile mechanic comes to you to diagnose and carry out what can be done on site, without driving to the garage. On Helplease, you describe your needs and the workers offering this service in Canada are notified of your request.
Depending on the diagnosis and what you agree with the worker, the job can include fault finding, supplying and fitting parts, tests and, if needed, referral to a workshop for major repairs.
Many jobs are possible at home; major repairs (gearbox, engine, alignment) need a lift and a workshop.
Working under a vehicle requires safe lifting (axle stands, stable ground); work on brakes and steering must be done by a qualified mechanic.
The rate is agreed with the worker based on these elements.
Depending on the agreement; he can supply them after diagnosis or give you the references.
