A room can look good on paper and be uncomfortable to live in. Decoration starts from real use: circulation, light, storage, then adjusts colours, materials and furniture so the space works day to day. On Helplease, you describe your needs and the workers offering this service in Haiti are notified of your request.
Depending on the agreement, the service can include a visit or analysis of photos, a layout proposal, selection of the elements, the set-up and a final review with you.
Decoration does not touch the structure: drilling a load-bearing wall, altering a partition or working on electrics, gas or plumbing is for qualified professionals. Before drilling, locate the conduits and pipes, and choose fixings suited to the surface and the weight. In a rental or a building with shared rules, check what the lease or the rules allow before making lasting changes.
Paints, varnishes, glues and solvents are used with a window open, no flame nearby, with gloves and a mask suited to the product. Never mix two products. Rags soaked in oil or varnish can heat up and ignite on their own: dry them flat outdoors or soak them in water before throwing them away, never bundled up in a bin.
The rate is agreed with the worker based on these elements.
Depending on the agreement: they can supply them or work with yours; state it in your request.
