Antivirus installation in Schellenberg

Antivirus installation — Schellenberg

A badly configured antivirus, or two installed at once, protects poorly and slows the machine. The installation includes cleaning up first, correct settings and above all the habits that prevent most infections. On Helplease, you describe your needs and the workers offering this service in Schellenberg are notified of your request.

What the service covers

• choosing and installing an antivirus;
• cleaning up the machine first;
• scan and update settings;
• protecting the phone;
• explaining the most common scams.

Depending on the agreement, the job can include the diagnosis, removing unwanted software, the installation, the configuration, a first full scan and an explanation of the right habits.

Key points

Real protection and scams

An antivirus is downloaded from the publisher's official site, never from a link received by message, and only one antivirus is installed at a time. Updating the system and the software matters as much as the antivirus itself. An alarming window asking you to call a number, pay urgently or allow remote control is a scam: close the window, do not call back, and have the machine checked.

Data and passwords

Back up your important files before any work: a repair may require a reinstallation. Do not share your passwords: open the sessions needed yourself and change them afterwards if you typed them in front of someone. Your personal files stay confidential, are neither copied nor kept, and no unlicensed software is installed on your equipment.

What affects the price

• nature of the problem;
• equipment involved;
• length of the job;
• parts or licences needed;
• travel or remote support.

The rate is agreed with the worker based on these elements.

Frequently asked questions

Depending on the diagnosis; the estimate is given before any purchase.

The equipment, the system, the exact error message, how long it has been happening and what changed before the fault.
