Computer lessons in Devitsa

Computer lessons — Devitsa

Everything is done online, and nobody takes the time to explain. A patient lesson, at your pace and on your own machine, lets you do on your own what used to block you: writing an email, filling in a form, calling family on video. On Helplease, you describe your needs and the workers offering this service in Devitsa are notified of your request.

What the service covers

• first steps on a computer;
• internet, search and online formalities;
• email and attachments;
• smartphone, photos and apps;
• security, passwords and common scams.

Depending on the agreement, the lesson can include a review of your needs, a suitable progression, exercises on your own equipment, a summary sheet and a security review.

Key points

Minors and online use

For a learner under 18, the lesson takes place in a shared room or with the door open, at an agreed time, with parents informed about the content, and on a parent's account for younger children. The lesson is also the moment to set up parental controls, explain what is never shared online — passwords, address, photos — and show how to report content or a contact that makes them uncomfortable.

Data and passwords

Back up your important files before any work: a repair may require a reinstallation. Do not share your passwords: open the sessions needed yourself and change them afterwards if you typed them in front of someone. Your personal files stay confidential, are neither copied nor kept, and no unlicensed software is installed on your equipment.

What affects the price

• nature of the problem;
• equipment involved;
• length of the job;
• parts or licences needed;
• travel or remote support.

The rate is agreed with the worker based on these elements.

Frequently asked questions

Can the work be done remotely?

Will parts or licences need buying?

Depending on the diagnosis; the estimate is given before any purchase.

What information should I give?

The equipment, the system, the exact error message, how long it has been happening and what changed before the fault.
