Computer cleanup in Achern

Computer clean-up — Achern

A computer that runs hot, roars and takes two minutes to start is not necessarily at the end of its life. Dust in the fans, a full disk and programs launching at start-up explain most slowdowns. On Helplease, you describe your needs and the workers offering this service in Achern are notified of your request.

What the service covers

• internal dusting and fans;
• disk and junk file clean-up;
• removing unwanted programs;
• optimising start-up;
• system and driver updates.

Depending on the agreement, the job can include the diagnosis, a prior backup if agreed, internal cleaning, software clean-up, updates and a review of the machine's general condition.

Key points

Data and passwords

Back up your important files before any work: a repair may require a reinstallation. Do not share your passwords: open the sessions needed yourself and change them afterwards if you typed them in front of someone. Your personal files stay confidential, are neither copied nor kept, and no unlicensed software is installed on your equipment.

Equipment and electricity

The device is unplugged before opening it, and a lithium battery that is swollen, punctured or getting hot is not handled: it is kept away from anything flammable and taken to a collection point. Components are handled on a clean surface with no liquid nearby, and screws and ribbon cables go back in order. A device still under warranty is not opened without checking what that implies.

What affects the price

• nature of the problem;
• equipment involved;
• length of the job;
• parts or licences needed;
• travel or remote support.

The rate is agreed with the worker based on these elements.
